1-Year anniversary gift for my girlfriend?

Our anniversary is on the 14th. We started living together last month. I%26#039;m already going to take her out for a nice dinner, but I need a gift idea to go along with that. $50ish. Ladies, what would you like? Or should I dump the gift idea and get flowers?

1-Year anniversary gift for my girlfriend?
My suggestion for a nice dinner is a place where you can see the city like both of you are on the top of the building. For the gift, I%26#039;d choose a necklace or if you don%26#039;t want to spend too much a bouquet of red roses with white roses, expressing the meaning of your love is true.
Reply:You should know enough about her by now to now something personal about her likes and dislikes.

A gift should reflect that you listen to her, and have put thought into it.

I personally don%26#039;t think a gift is necessary. Though they are pretty, flowers die. Unless you know her favorite flower, skip it. Buuy her something that you know she wants but won%26#039;t buy for herself.
Reply:We will want just a romantic place!!
Reply:Get a bottle of wine for after the dinner!
Reply:Well you can%26#039;t get a lot for $50 for a 1 year anniversary, so flowers would be perfect. For my 1 year anniversary, I%26#039;d want a promise ring! ;-)
Reply:I would suggest getting her something memorable, maybe from Things Remembered at the mall. Have something engraved with your anniversary on it. I also for my girlfriend (wife now) took the pictures from our past year and made a scrap book (with the help of one of my lady friends at work) and told her that we%26#039;d keep adding to it with future memories. I have learned that women, of course, like flowers, but they treasure something with more sentimental value. Flowers are perishable as you know and will last a week or so. She will be awed if you do something like that for her. I know mine was. Good luck! Let me know what you decide if you come up with anything really creative. My 1 year wedding anniversary is approaching as well.
Reply:What better gift to offer her than a “living” portrait of your love and care for her. Select a photo or picture of something she likes most, or one of your most memorable photos, and send it to the creative and professional artists from http://www.paintyourlife.com. I assure you, they will turn it into a classical-looking painting!

The same company also has a studio for oil paintings reproductions. If you are looking for an affordable gift urgently, you can take a look at their %26#039;stock on sale%26#039;. Visit http://www.oil-paintings-reproductions.c...
Reply:i think you should get her something both of you should enjoy if you know what i mean but make it more for her.
