I was wondering other than balloons what is some ideas for a 25th surprise wedding anniversary?
We were also thinking about having table center pieces, but don%26#039;t think candles would be a good idea cause it will be outside in June (afraid they will keep blowing out)... flowers could be good but expensive.
Any ideas would be greatly appricated!!!
THANKS AHEAD OF TIME :oD
Suggestions for 25th Anniversary decorations?
A good friend of ours, for her boyfriend%26#039;s 40th birthday, bought boxes of mixed candy from the 60%26#039;s and 70%26#039;s. Each table had a box as a centerpiece. It was a real blast from the past as each guest took a piece out and told stories from when he/she was a kid! The people you are surprising would probably have grown up around the same time. I think she got them online at some kind of candy store website.
Reply:Hi, I would go to churchbows website and look at their decorations. I buy from them all the time for the events I plan. They are great! You can also get the colors for a 25th anniversary there! Like silver and white mixed bows. They are so beautiful. Stores charge you like 7.00 and up for these and you can but them on there for a little over $1.00 each. Good Luck!

Ideas for an anniversary gift.?
My 1 yr anniversary is in two weeks and I need help with gift ideas. The traditional gift is paper but my wife has already said that she thinks framed poems, pictures, letters, are cheesy. The modern day traditional gift is a wrist watch and I got her a nice watch for her birthday last year. So now I am stuck. I have been considering a spa package, however she goes to spas all the time. So now I am just looking for ideas for good gifts. We already have a nice dinner planned all i need now are ideas to go along with a card and some flowers. However right now I am leaning towards the spa package. Please help with ideas or if you think my current idea is fine. Thanks

If you%26#039;re looking for a fun and romantic gift for yuor anniversary, I think that these personalized soaps from http://www.soapcard.com are a great solution. they make soaps with your photo or just message embedded inside. I got one for my boyfriend and he loved it. You can write all kinds of funny stuff.... My boyfriend thought it was super cute! .the %26quot;Think of me when you%26#039;re feeling dirty%26quot; soap was the one he loved the most

Reply:Jewelry....every woman loves jewelry. A nice bracelet would be nice.
Reply:I think she would like a spa package, my ex got me one of those a few years ago. It was amazing, but there not cheap. I think some roses would be nice too.
Reply:Seeing how she already goes to the spa why not get her something way different.....like a gift card to get her nails and hair done......a nice treatment but yet it is different than what she does most of the time....just a thought...
Reply:Jewelry is always good, it doesn%26#039;t have to be so expensive. And i also though of like a key that you get and say its the key to your heart, but since she says a poem is cheesy, maybe shell find that cheesy too!! Anyways just think about something she really like and that she could never get!! So good luck
Reply:What about making her a %26quot;This Is Your Life%26quot; video? Basically put pictures to some meaningful songs and burn it on a DVD. I did these for both of my parents and they were a huge hit. I made a tutorial for folks to encourage them to do the same. See the link below.
Reply:Your idea is fine by all means. However, you can make it absolutely major for her.I bet the best gift in such a situation would be an art piece - for instance a handmade portrait or painting made from some memorable photos. Just send the photo(s) to the professional artists at http://www.paintyourlife.com and they will create wonders out of that innocent looking photo. She will definitely like it, and so will everyone who sees it. The service is fast and fairly priced. Take a look and judge for yourself!

My 6 month anniversary HELP!!?
My 6 month anniversary is on April 1st... what should I do... on valentines day I got him a glass block with a heart saying heath on one sideof the heart and Sarah on the other half with %26quot; My better half%26quot; on the bottom. I also made him a card with how much I care about him w/pictures of us, and a CD of love song...he got me flowers cause I kept bugging him about what he was going to get me...anyway so our 6 month is coming up and I keep giving him hints and everything...anyway can you help me deside what to do about this...and what to get or do for our 6 month? Please help!!
My 6 month anniversary HELP!!?
Here%26#039;s something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.
Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.
Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.
Reply:Seems like you are a romantic at heart. What about a candlelight dinner at home with all your and our husband%26#039;s home made favorite dishes on the table and then soft velvet bedding with rose petals on it. Bubble baths can start the evening with the right note too. You can choose soft romantic love song for the night too. Otherwise...take the bubble bath, print two fake movie tickets (April 1st you said, right) and tell him to dress up for the movie show and dinner outside for the anniversary. By the time, you both dress up, tell him to go and wait for you in the car. Get the table ready, light the candles and then call him in on some pretext and give him a surprise with the change of plan!

Anniversary, by definition, means annual as in once a year.
Reply:before you commit to any 6 months anniversary thingy, which is uncommon, I have to warn you of the danger of doing so in future. Its clearly you are in honeymoon period and very much lost in the sea of love. What you do now, you can%26#039;t keep up in the days to come, its gonna cause you alot of problem. Think! If you get present every 6months during the first 2 years, and then 12monthly thereafter, we do you feel? You start to feel the person starting to neglect you. You start to feel he doesn%26#039;t love you. You may start to even imagine things. My advise is, don%26#039;t go at any pace you can%26#039;t keep up for the rest of your life. Coz the future you should be looking at stepping it up. However if you really insist, maybe have a good long 5min kiss with him. Cheap, expressive, and memorable.
Reply:take him out to dinner, and get him something that he loves.
Reply:Bake him a gorgeous cake in his favorite flavor and don%26#039;t make a big deal out of it. Just tell him you made it for this 6-month mark because he is so sweet. Don%26#039;t pressure him and show you have high expectations - because it almost sounds to me like he is going to have to keep topping himself or you in the gift/celebration department! I mean, if you make it to the 2 year mark, is he going to have to parachute out of a plane with a bouquet and land on your lawn?

What is a good One year Anniversary gift to my girlfriend?
Our relationship is anything but %26quot;normal%26quot;. We met online a year ago August 18, 2006, and yes its the internet, but we love each other. We plan on getting together and meeting for the first time August 22nd, only because she%26#039;s still in summer school ( Senior in College ).
I have sent her so many flowers that her managers and office managers know that every time FTD comes that time of month (every 18th of the month) its for her.
I have sent her a promise ring and necklace already on our 8 and 10 month anniversary.
I was thinking what would be a meaningful 1 year anniversary gift to her would be? Something that would still be worn like 5 - 10 years down the road?
I love this woman more than anything in the world. She means everything to me. We have our little vacation all set forth when she comes down here, but I want to surprise her when we do meet.
Thanks in Advance!

While she won%26#039;t be able to wear this gift, you both will be able to enjoy for years to come and she will really appreciate your thoughtful effort.
Make her a blog/timeline telling her what you love about her and talk about all the places and things you can%26#039;t wait to experience with her in the future. An old b/f used http://ourstory.excellentabc.com to make one for me and I was very impressed. It is free to do and you can both keep it updated as your relationship continues to grow.
This gift will also work great in your situation since you can both leave little notes to the site everyday telling her you are thinking about her or leave a simple compliment.
Reply:I%26#039;m not sure how you can truly love this woman without ever meeting her. But, I suppose a nice diamond necklace would do the trick
Reply:so u want something meaningful how about giving her a camera and an photo album and making a scarp book so she can remember your trip together or a locked with both of y%26#039;all picture
Reply:I bet she%26#039;s lucky to have a guy like you! You sound so sweet! When she visits you, take her to a very nice place for dinner and give her a neclace from Kay Jewelery. Their commercials are very corny but the jewelery I think is very nice. Get her a neclace you think she would like. If you can, go gold. And hey, Every Kiss Begins With KAY!! Haha. Good luck!

Celebrating wedding anniversary?
Although, we have had many good events and days (pre or post wedding) to remember, I feel that I have been mistreated, insulted and hated on many occasions repeatedly over the past 2 years. The last year was really tough and we are on the verge of separation. We will be completing 4 years of our marriage in March. I am not sure if there is anything to celebrate on the anniversary. Should I still go ahead and plan something? FYI - We did go out for a valentine dinner but there were no flowers or %26quot;I love you%26quot; etc. Just a plain formality.
Celebrating wedding anniversary?
I%26#039;m sorry to hear about your situation. If I were you, I would wait to plan anything. Unfortunately it%26#039;ll be a waste of your time and money to plan something special if you are just going through the motions. If the situation changes, it%26#039;s always easier to do things spur of the moment rather than trying to undo plans that fall through. If you do choose to celebrate your anniversary the most important and special thing should be that you and she spend the time together and celebrate each other. Good luck.
Reply:Do you want to make your marriage work? If you do, then do everything you can to help it out. Plan something nice.
If you both want to try to make it work, then you need to talk about what is wrong or seek couples counseling. Good luck.

What type of anniversary gift would a man like?
It is coming up on our 4 yr anniversary and I have no clue what to get him. It seems kinda weird to get him flowers or candy, he%26#039;s a manly man if you know what I mean! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
What type of anniversary gift would a man like?
I suggest 4 wishes, with a gift to symbolise each wish. Depending on your budget this could be big or small.
A wish for a vacation might be a matchbox full of sand or a picture of your dream vacation. If you are loaded it might be tickets for the trip.
Bake a cake in the shape of his dream car.
A wish for fun and laughter in his life might be a packet of water balloons.
A piggy bank with a coin in it for luck.
Designer socks.
A framed photograph of the two of you that he hasn%26#039;t seen.
A battery charger.
A video racing car game.
A fantastic pocket knife.
Four favourite cd%26#039;s.
My main suggestion is this....don%26#039;t get him girly things that you would want, get him things he would want.
Dress up in lots of layers and make up a quiz where he has to answer questions about your life together - every time he gets one right then another thing comes off until you have nothing else on.
Give him four vouchers for very explicit nights with you, with naughty details of what he is allowed to do.

We (men in general) also like the element of surprise. You could go for a series of small gag gifts that lead up the real one. Depending on how playful he is, you can have lots of creative fun. On the clean side:
Gift 1: A wrapped screwdriver.
Gift 2: A flashlight (LED new technology)
Gift 3: Something else that%26#039;s dumb. The point is, none of these gifts are appropriate for an anniversary, that%26#039;s what makes them funny.
Then of course the real gift. Ask him out for %26quot;A Date%26quot; a present it to him or have a waiter bring it to the table (Pre arranged of course). Show the effort.
Have fun,
Reply:Some nice watch, cologne, some clothes, book, Cd%26#039;s, games, computer software, tickets for events, nice dinner for two or wellness for two.

Not for him of course but for you so then you get a new sexy outfit and he gets to take it off of you. If he doesnt like that then hes crazy lol
Reply:Are you married or just BF/GF? ..Get him movie tickets or something that reflects his interests/hobbies..etc. Ie: does he draw? get him a sketch pad %26amp; new pencils..just an example..

Parents 36th anniversary?
I am stumped. I am very cash poor but my parent’s 36th anniversary in coming up in 6 days. I want to do something special for them that will really WOW them. Flowers and candy would be just for my mom and I want to do something they will both enjoy. Also they are watching their weight so candy would go over like a lead balloon. I know they will love anything I do for them but I want to do something special that they will never forget. Anyone have any thoughts on the subject?

a picnic at a local park will be nice. pack a small picnic basket. fill it with a red/white checkered blanket-$0.99-$3.99, sparking cider-$2.50-$4.00 a bottle, make some sandwiches, throw in two-three bottles of water, and fruits and send them off. it%26#039;ll be really nice and relaxing and it won%26#039;t cost you more than $20.
Reply:what i think would be nice if you have any brother and sisters and grand children all get together and have your photo taken then have it enlarged and put in a frame i hope they have a lovely anniversary it is my anniversary on the 10 aug and i would love that present of my children HAPPY ANNIVERSARY X X X
Reply:well.........u could sing them a nice song for that day.
go giv them a nice hug and wish them and say %26#039;I LOVE YOU DAD AND MOM%26quot;
or best thing........be with them all the time throughout the day and help them out in whatever they r tryin to do. I m sure they would appreciate u 4 dat.......
nywayz convey my regards for this special event.
Reply:Fix them a special dinner of their favorite foods. Have the family over and any friends they might have locally. If there are small children, have them draw a picture or write a note to the grandparents. Thoughtful things like that mean the world to parents.
Reply:Why not frame a photo of them? I took a photo on my parents anniversary and then gave it to them. They sent copies out to everyone and their brother. Or make them a nice dinner. It%26#039;s the thought, not the expense.
Reply:I feel honored to answer the question of a person whose parent%26#039;s marriage lasted 36 years. As for the gift, we cant help u there, sorry. You know what they like more than any of us here.
